Btw fam since you're close to the source - what do u think of the slums+ labelling and do you know what the opinions on it are by the ones labelled? I mean I've already seen some hints at opinions on twitter, mostly anti-labelling in general...

I def think it's good to have a name for the scene and slums is a fitting name for the sound (and also already found a lot of popularity online anyway), but it could be interesting to hear some insights from you, if you have any.

Considering the idea of slums is all over the place and consists of other people that have yet to mentioned and a lot of people talked about are not actually SLUMS and the idea of it now is totally different, I don't necessarily agree with the tag but it is what it is. I think its inevitable on how things catch on outside of the states especially. I like what Sporting Life called it, Neo New York he said. I like the idea of Neo Hip Hop or just as the idea of Young World, I think thats why MIKE made Young World happen, to recognize that
