its good, just aint too crazy about all the spoken word.

Came off slightly diluted, a lot cooks in the kitchen on every song and expected the neo-soul direction to be more buttery. I still plan on seeing them on tour this summer 🤞🏾🤞🏾

This joint is wild smooth and this will always be my favorite side of Siifu. He always experiments with his projects, and the skits and spoken word is the experiment on this one

I absolutely agree. Smooth R&B Siifu is genuinely my favorite too, I'll have to keep giving the album more listens. I was hopeful the album would orbit around the melodies of "Gumbo'! 4 the Folks, Hold On" OR some Pino Palladino bass slap vibes all over the record. I don't know, wishful thinking I guess

I dig the production and it maintains a pretty chill vibe throughout...just feel like something is missing and that it too often coasts on "vibes" rather than substance...I do think ppl comparing it to NxWorries are off track though it's definitely its own thing
