Is there a project release date?
In my interview he said it’s dropping in the Fall
Dude it’s insane def jam is a still a “major” that building is like an understaffed wendys I’ve always wondered how or why Maxo signed with them
Understaffed Wendy's
They should all just have followed MIKE and Siifu's lead. Making what they want. Dropping when they want. Performing live constantly. Selling merch direct.

Sounds like the smile era as well as lil big man
@YoungNastyShawty what's your experience reaching out to MIKE? Did u go through his manager or other contacts?
I now got a job at RYM doing monthly interviews after bringing Loraine James to the platform and they're on board w me doing MIKE n Moor Mother next
Got ideas for lots of fire artists already
also @marcusg @DwindlingSun and everyone else itt, if u have some good questions you would like answered... will definitely wanna touch on the 10k label, ife.radio and edm/d'n'b cause he's never talked much about that far as I'm aware. Also def wanna talk about this as a scene and what he thinks of his legacy in this
no one talking about medhane new ep
its like that when you accuse a black man of something....

I never seen them promote his music either. He never looks that underground artist signed to Def Jam should have access to.

so many ppl doing security should NOT do that job. one of those jobs that would benefit from them passing some psychology check highkey
this is a shame Elsewhere looks like such an incredible place, they have the sickest line-ups.
rly f***ed up big time with this, Siifu is connected with like the entire industry. let's hope this gets some attention and forces them to take action making sure this doesn't happen again

Elsewhere is a great f***in spot and security is usually on point. Very disappointing. I was just there to see JWords a few weeks ago
I've been going to Elsewhere since 2018. Seen Chynna, Bbymutha, A-Trak, etc. never seen no s*** like that over there. Goin back to see Roc & Alc this weekend too.
I’m finding I enjoy MIKE’s music the most when I’m going through it.. King of the Night is SO good

Seriously great project, would do anything for one of those cds with the hand drawn covers. stupid hard

sry to hear that you are fam
but fr I kinda credit MIKE n this whole scene to changing my whole outlook on life n depression tbh.
stuck in the midst of it all
struggling, hm, nah
...rly a way of life
like he makes the darkest music but it's always focused on finding a little light and clarity in it all. BLP2020 def one of his darkest, so much that it took me a moment to get into it but it rly is crazy good. in love with the production on it. maybe his most direct spritual successor to IDLS
rapper friend of mine pointed out in a chat recently that he finds MIKE has a very rigid rhyme scheme and kind of writes to fit into that. I can follow that but wonder if you would agree
(particularly @marcusg @DwindlingSun @voyce + feel free to tag other Ka/Mach/Armand Hammer regulars who also love MIKE)
would appreciate some a***ysis from you and other pen/rap geeks in here about specifics on his rapping cause even though I have a specific taste in rap writing and delivery I'm not too much of an expert with the technicalities of it and feel like with MIKE being so respected I should maybe get acquainted with that s*** more.
like what makes him standout the most to you compared with peers. to me it's his whole personality and attitude first and foremost probably but wonder what others itt think. I generally tend to prioritize production aspect of rap more too even tho all my favorite artists are those who write well

I noticed this about mike too
It’s extremely chant like. Like finding one cadence and rhyme pattern and repeating it over and over. Never really a sense of stopping or pause it keeps going. Most tracks anyway
Simple but complex. It is unique from his peers
