Life's Riddle @ 1:27 sounds/looks so emotional
What's the jazz song @ 5:02?
Edit: I've Known Rivers by Gary Bartz
real for posting the track, Sage and Mike got some amazing jazz recs and this looks like another one. I think I actually heard this one on Stay Inside before
lowkey the jazz samples on that collab tape will be insane. Sort of hope this show is a first kind of teaser for the collab and means they're readying something
these two sentences from a WOTW rym review are still so hilarious to me
I can barely understand what the lad's saying. Additionally, his flow is complete garbage
not sure if someone posted it, but there’s a dope new interview with MIKE on Bandcamp’s Hip Hop Show: https://bandcamp.com/?show=477
27:45 is when the interview starts

Pretty economic phrasing tbf
Logical next step after the Sonemic interview? Lol. Sheeesh... Huge. Hugely deserved too

Nice review for the new Bbymutha EP. Praying NL doesn't f*** up again and I can see her and Loraine James next month at Rewire...
Does anyone know how to get in touch with Mike or Navy or Mavi's manager? I see Navy has someone linked on his IG, but they don't reply.
No clue who manages Mike or Mavi.

I want to book Mike or any other mentioned artists in Texas. I could hustle a couple grand in a few months.
Thanks for this
There's a whole world outside NYC. I’m pissed because when I was in New York this nigga was nowhere as active as he has been this year
Dude lives there. He tours but people are gonna do stuff close to the crib often that’s just how it goes. It’s not like he’s Uber world famous and never leaving homebase he’s an underground ny based artist if that’s a fair description.
Starting to see the light huh
looks like slowly the scene gets approval through all establishments
this vid really put me on to them. 22! and no no are so damn good. What albums should I start with?

U new to both? For Navy I'd start with Navy's Reprise and go backwards from there, all three albums he put out since 2020 are fantastic and got a bit of a distinct flavor tho. 22 is from Ada Irin
For MIKE if you like No No especially I'd recommend weight of the World, some find his most recent one Disco! even more accessible. Basically he only put out amazing albums for 5 years now though. All with a bit of a distinct sound too. My personal favs are in the rym list in op

Enjoy man
two of the most exciting rappers+producers in the game rn, you're in for a treat.
Navy has also been producing entire albums for other rappers over the past year, made two fire albums for Ankhlejohn and Akai Solo, another one with Wiki is incoming, these guys are insanely prolific
MIKE x Navy collab has also been teased for a while
Been listening to GUMBO'! all week, rly great album
More and more feel that some consider it his best
just catching up on some Aaliyah and found the Nation LTST s@mple
now going through whosampled for the whole album for the first time, amazing chops all throughout. Really timeless sound. Absolutely a future classic tbh, imo easily the best rap album of 2019
Slauson performed "1 for Chello and Guitar" live in Brooklyn. Meaning his first mixtape of wonky beats? I'd be interested to hear snippets of that
