Damn I need to give Ada Irin a relisten 👀 some goat tracks on there for sure but the album as a whole never seemed completely consistent to me tbh, left me feeling like it's not his final form yet.

I wanna say that's the first time I see them chilling together in like 5+ years? Beautiful to see. I think it'd be rly interesting to see them collab, still. That last Solange record at the least showed that as differently as they developed they still have a lot of overlap

weird, youtube video seems to have very different/cleaner mixing, which honestly kinda throws me off, just doesn't sound as grimy (the outstanding quality of the whole tape). Luckily seems like the bandcamp version retains the soundcloud mixing

First track sounds the weirdest to me because it lacks distortion, second track sounds like there's a filter on it. Rest sounds relatively normal in comparison

Yeah I don't even care about the length those two are locked in my top 10 oty. Slauson in fact might have my AOTY (/POTY?) tho I need to let it sit some more. Definitely my favorite new vocalist, legit takes the best qualities of Frank rapping and Krule singing but still sounds unique, lyrics are really great too
