Altering Ttrabul, and I can only assume he was the impetus for removing Poorboy.
Petty excuse for action. And just a poor precedent to set imo.

Vergangenheitsbewältigung is a very powerful word, especially when applying it to Black America rn

listening for the first time rn this album is wild. Seems to have more in common with Phil Elverum than with most rap.
Crazy thing is I already know a lot of tracks from his youtube but hearing them as an album and mastered gives it a really different vibe for some reason. Could also be that it's my lack of sleep rn coupled with the green, but it really feels like a movie atm

Yeah its definitely very cinematic. I remember hearing a few of these too from his youtube. Guess the direction aint all that surprising in hindsight.
But still, his longest release coming after getting a pitchfork nod and he doesnt even rap on a single track, bold move.
we could also call this the Git Collective
seems like kind of a rite of passage thing to say that word lol and I'm not sure I've heard it in any other raps

where is :slick2: when u need it :slick2:

very cool album which is labelled as experimental hip hop on rym but is for large portions more like ambient
also samples Medslaus' "still f***ed up" and Mike at the end
EP still in heavy rotation
didn't stick for me, need to give that another go
