splice.com/blog/look-at-hyperpop-production
found an interview w/ angelus, wells, and alice gas
ran out of love is so f***ing good
it was made around the same time as eRratas ep btw so the new stuff is even crazier
also on Wells thing it says "Tune in to hear the “disproportionately emo” sounds of Blackwinterwells, whose new album is out this spring" so I guess we getting fed another album already in the coming weeks
holy f***
faith and crushed are insane
glacierbaby came thru once again despite only getting one beat on this project
just like jeopardy
@fka_sebastien did u listen to fractalize yet
damn i really need to post here more i listen to this s*** so much lately
basically listen only to wlr and hyperpop this year alongside some older stuff
makes me inspired too
also i don’t think i posted on here after i listened to teen week i was kinda off ktt by that time
i forgot to post about it so please let me ventilate it here now lol
i had basically now expectations since i wasn’t familiar with dltzk but oh god
im so passionate about it it’s soooo relatable to me and very inspiring especially when i found out he’s just a few days older than me, he really made me want to make music
i really had no expectations so it hit me like a thunder all of a sudden, sooo relatable it’s like there’s someone at the same age as me going through some similar problems as me especially in this time, like im actually a pretty happy kid but i can relate so much with some of this
i never really heard music relatable as this for my current age, it’s not so often i can relate to something this much so this album is really pretty personal to me and makes me emotional
seventeen legitimately teared me up i was actually listening to it at like 2am for the first time and didn’t expect it all to happen that moment was crazy, one of the most relatable songs ever to me
(btw i need this on apple music badly im really mad at this)
also i love u so much @tupacarti
❤️❤️❤️
you put me on to all this great music and keep continuing to put me on, maybe i would never discover all this music without u, so grateful i got to know u at least through this site, love u ❤️
homeswitcher might be the craziest hyperpop song i’ve heard so far, the production is insane and it slaps everytime

same man
this is seriously the best scene/era of music that I've seen come to popularity--I have never seen a bundle of artists be in the same age group as me, and be making such emotionally potent music. like ericdoa said the best on one of his livestreams, it's "music made by teenagers for teenagers."
it's a beautiful thing, and honestly, I don't think we've seen anything like it before. all of them talk about things that we actually go through, and are pretty transparent in their songwriting. i think Midwxst is the best example of this, all his recent songs have been my favorites to come out the scene because it's him at his most vulnerable, and at points, some of his lyrics sound like outtakes from my journal
