yeah it's like part of me understands despising and feeling disconnected from how you acted as a teenager, although i never said anything remotely like that so it's hard to understand in general even acting like that.. but you'd think she would accept it with some grace instead of pivoting to victim mode. ethel did a similar thing too and it's like by accepting responsibility and facing it you would come off much more mature and actually changed, but by being defensive about it so much later on it's like you're still sort of defending your old self in a sense.. it's messy
