A concept album:

The project centers around the introduction of an alter ego named Mr. Piks.
• Emotional Reinvention: The album serves as an exploration of self-belief, resilience, and personal growth. The concept of "Piks." represents moving past difficult historical moments, using life experiences to make confident choices rather than letting past trauma make you over-cautious.
• The "Mr. Piks" Persona: This alter ego acts as a more confident, unrestricted extension of Skip Waiters' own personality. It allows him to approach familiar struggles, romance, and vulnerability with total creative freedom and diminished inhibitions.
• Moving Forward: As described by the artist, the record is crafted for "the moments when you finally understand what the past was trying to teach you" and outgrowing internal battles to leave baggage behind.
