Your current routine is good! Both are exfoliants. I think the difference between AHAs and BHAs is that AHAs are supposed to make skin peel and reveal fresh skin while BHAs go deep into your bores to reveal excess oil. AHAs are good for hyperpigmentation and scarring, while BHAs are good for acne. If you have particularly sensitive skin then it might be irritating to your skin, but if not it’s pretty cool.
Makes good sense, appreciate it. Is that also why it’s only 2% BHA and 30% instead of both being 30%?
But I’ll pick it up for sure, also been thinking about checking rosehip oil out just cause KTT going crazy forit
I've noticed tiny red bumps on my cheeks and looked it up. Apparently they are broken capillaries(?). How can I get rid of them and make myself look sexy?

Yep. The Alpha is much stronger than the beta which is why it is concentrated lower . Now that you mention the rose hip I keep hearing about it and seeing it online. After I run out the BHA I might try it!
Here you go fam @ongod
thank you fam

Buy an oil cleanser in addition to your water/gel cleanser and use both (oil first) at night. The oil cleanser helps break down excess oil on your face that the gel based cleanser can then pick up and get rid of.
Use a BHA exfoliant on your oily areas.
A niacinamide serum or products with niacinamide in it help control excess oil production
since it's about to be summer and potentially more humid out, a thinner, gel-based moisturizer will help with your oily areas too, and depending on the product will hopefully not leave the rest of your face feeling too dry
how tf yall even start a skincare routine?? all i use is a cleanser, my skin gets red sometimes tho and looks kinda shiny in pics. i started doing some research but all this s*** using fancy ass words n chemicals
I can’t be bothered for a full routine. Fortunately my skin has never been an issue. A facial cleanser and moisturizer all I need.

start with the basics. at the very least u should be cleansing and moisturizing. i do recommend using a toner and exfoliating too every now and then. From there its just trying products and research then u can start developing an actual proper routine. by the sounds of it u prolly got sensitive and oily skin. so i'd look into products that helps with that if i were u

best moisturizer i've used to date.
helped so much with my moisture barrier and just making my skin feel and look healthy. and i tried tons of moisturizers because they either broke me out or didnt really moisturize that well.
it also has the golden ratio of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids which is a key player and surprisingly difficult to find in all moisturizers. and also has a bunch of other great ingredients that helped minimize my routine as well. i was using niacinamides standalone, but liquid gold had that and many more beneficial ingredients as well.
it feels thick but it never left me feeling greasy which is amazing.
but i will say, that during the winter time i would add more drops of rosehip oil or finish off with a thicker moisturizer because i find it to be lacking in the hydrating department in colder months, but i guess you could also pack on the moisturizer if you want, but im too frugal to be using up all of LG to quickly since it has gotten more expensive.
one of the two products that i can truly recommend to anyone

good looks that sounds great
retinoid vs retinol ?
Seems like Retinoid products would cause less irration but retinol has more research behind it, what should I go for
i recommend yall try cutting out/cutting down on animal products
stg i do nothing for my face but wash with water and coconut oil after showers and it's never been better
diet play a huge role and meat/dairy/eggs full of nasty puss and incredibly low on antioxidants
inb4 username to post correlation, I know I know
