I started shaving my beard and I'm getting crazy irritation. could be that i'm using a gilette mach 3 or that skin isn't used to tretinoin but i'm gonna start using a single blade to shave anyone got ideas
i love that strong exfoliant from the ordinary that looks like you wiped blood all over your face

Nah i do it at night and shave in the morning. I did however see a clip on tiktok of clavicular saying use La Roche Posay B5 cream at night once a week if you use tret and my irritation is gone go figure

ayyy I use that haha. its supposedly the calmest/least irritating. even safe post shave.
but for irritation it could just be cause ur going over the same area many times, or that ur pressing the razor onto the skin. try and just make it touch.
personally i abandoned razors and use those circular blade trimmers. i dont wanna risk anymore ingrown hair scars

I switched to a Braun while my irritation calms down and it's been great but i really like the blade i got really good at shaping my beard with one of these

Figured it out i think it was the retinol or this harsh toner. didn't even need toner -_- i just simplified it now and switched to tret
Changed to a water based moisturizer and added sunscreen to my skincare, I feel so baby smooth
