I don’t know the behind the scenes story but from what we saw, ye was the instigator in the situation. I don’t believe cudi really picked a side I think ye just made that post and forced him to. They’re adults and collaborators not best friends and it should’ve never mattered that cudi and Pete are cool, ye saw an opportunity for a viral moment and was willing to mess with cudi to get it
They were more than just “collaborators” man, at least by the history of their relationship that we know. Cudi clearly wanted to stay friends with Skete despite all the wack s*** he was doing and then cut off Ye instead because Ye took issue with it.
