Pisses me off the keep changing these damn franchises to first person. Only to add 3rd person later, like avatar or re7 lol. What don't they get about that players wanna play games like this in 3rd person?

finally beat 2 remake, I played it when it dropped but got to the prison and put it on pause bc of life s*** then I just kept forgetting lol

really loved it, I feel like everything from angelas death on was just done straight up better in the original tho. I think the reading of Mary's letter was way better before even though the new VA did a great job.

Pretty much all the other changes I loved, boss fights were much better and I love how they added phases to the last boss and abstract daddy. The Combat changes were obviously necessary but I actually found it lowered the tension in a lot of areas, double pyramid head boss for example given that the telegraphs were just too obvious and timing too forgiving.

Really enjoyed the character models too, Maria's sexiness is just communicated better in the OG imo but I f***ed with how they made Eddie even more disgusting and the changes in Angela's face.

The VA for James f***ing killed it, I loved his delivery so much, the natural pauses, the little sounds left in. huge respect to that dude esp what he had to go off from the OG which is obviously great but most of the enjoyment came from it's stiltedness

Got the leave ending but I searched up the rest of them after and the Stillness and Bliss one were beautiful

not watching anything I wanna go in blind, but yeah they’re officially back. f and 2 were fantastic, townfall looks to meet that bar of quality as well
