    Noir

    Pulp Fiction
(True Romance, don’t care if it counts)
    Reservoir Dogs
    Jackie Brown
    Django Unchained
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
Inglorious Basterds (one of his best openings though)
    Kill Bill
    Hateful Eight
    Death Proof

I like them all but early Quentin tends to be my favorite

    True Romance 2nd is wildd

In a similar fashion, the EEAAO fanbase malding even eminent in comparison to the cult of Marvel. (Check replies)

I enjoyed EEAAO for what it was but 100% think that film and RRR was wayyyy too overhyped IMO

personally i found eeaao to be the most over hyped movie of the year. i enjoyed myself and don't have any issue with the movie really, but feel like the hype/momentum almost hurt the movie in the long run

i loved RRR to death tho and def feel like that was the better movie in every way

The 3rd act of eeaao is terrible if we being honest and cheesy af with all the on the nose preachy dialogue. RRR is a fun movie I just don’t view it as top 10 quality

Nah they trolling in those comments if they deadass saying “I never heard of any of these movies”

It’s impossible to not have heard of Nope. Kimi I see that poster everytime I go on HBO max.

Umm you literally just heard about them and now have the opportunity to go watch….

I haven’t even watched, I’m too fascinated by the discourse of something that’s reception becomes overbearing

I’d take Banshees over EEAAO. I’d maybe take Tar too. Those three and Decision to Leave are my Rushmore of 2022, all fantastic movies but EEAAO definitely isn’t leaps and bounds better than everything else this year.

I don’t get why THAT film became the IT film of 2022. Even my friends I seen it with loved it, and I was just like meh. I was excited for it, even made a thread for it on here lol but ultimately didn’t extremely love it like I thought I would

Rewatched it the other day, enjoyed the quirky action in the first 2 acts and fell asleep during the preachy “let’s all be kind to each other” 3rd act. And it’s crazy cus alotta ppl said they emotionally broke down during the 3rd act and I still can’t seem to see how

Possible hot take ITT but I loved the best picture last year, Coda. I know ppl viewed it as formulaic and whatever but it worked for me
