haven't seen any of them outside of some clips but apparently a lot of dreamworks recent output like puss in boots 2 + the bad guys had some rlly innovative animation in it but the new kung fu panda was lacking .

hope they keep up their stylistic streak w/ this one . would be cool if they leaned into the storybook aesthetics or something - the fact that it's coming out in 2026 instead of 25 is giving me hope

Bad Guys and Puss were great. I didn’t think Panda 4 was terrible but not on the level of those. Puss is also a tier above Bad Guys to be clear
