This guy was not a thought leader or anything, just some guy paid to vocally regurgitate talking points from Fox News on college campuses. His influence is not more materially meaningful than a random prime time Fox News anchor. Someone like Tucker Carlson is way more influential materially. You are vastly underestimating the influence he has on average young people.
I get it but by the same metric anyone who is any way a public figure is comparable. This guy pales in comparison to someone like Andrew Tate or Nick Fuentes. He is influential in the sense that he is a public figure but not influential in the sense he is radically changing political paradigm. Like I get what people are saying but smoking at him has the same effect as throwing a smoke grenade in the Fox News lobby, it’s not like it radically alters the trajectory of a movement. Especially since TPUSA is just a GOP aligned org and not some independent movement

Oh absolutely, damn near anything would've killed him in that area. My doubt comes from the fact that I've seen 30-06 blow near fist sized entry holes in deer center mass/shoulder area, which is significantly thicker than a human neck. Not to mention the exit wounds being massive. If you're not easily squeamish, look up "30-06 deer wound" and you'll see what I mean.
Sep 11, 2025Crazy there was a high school shooting yesterday that didn't hardly get no attention. No one died luckily except the shooter but I guess a few got injured. I had to find that out on another website I was randomly on. When multiple tragedies happen at once I guess it's a popularity contest of which one was more important that gets the attention

Well he is a pretty big deal as far as he founded a right wing rag that's emblematic of modern right wing "journalism" and he was influential for young maga folk. More than anything though I'd say it's what his assassination represents idk

They were just talking yesterday how he was important in corralling college campuses/ youth for Trumps base & how they figured he was more useful as he was than part of the cabinet. At my schools I saw TPUSA try to step there

Fox anchors probably have real security. Shapiro stays in his hidey hole and makes movies now.
Kirk is constantly touring schools to spill his filth and try to indoctrinate the next generation.
Who knows if that much thought was put into it, we dont know anything about the shooter except they can hit a pretty small target from 200 yards with quite alot of pressure and cared about getting caught.

I think it’d be hard for me to believe that assassinating him has a meaningful knock on effect to US politics vs going after the people funding him or people commanding large alt movements with a cult of personality theoretically
