It's persona lite. Coming to all platforms but switch. Game doesn't look too taxing so my crappy pcshould handle it fine.

I’m so happy that Atlus even remembered Soul Hackers, let alone developed a new game. This is one of the most surprising announcements from them in years. This is the perfect time for a new Soul Hacker, too, with the advent of a corporation backed “metaverse” strengthening dependence on technology. I wonder how much Atlus predicted that the ideas in Soul Hackers would be popularized when this title began development.

I hope Nemissa is still around. The protagonist looks great, and the combination of party members and demons is reminiscent of something like Digital Devil Saga.

I’m hype ngl, but as such a big fan of the first soul hackers i’m really not into the character designs/aesthetics of the trailer

like the first one had such a distinct/dark late 90s early 2000s aesthetic and i’m just not seeing it in the new style looks so generic imo

obviously i’m so excited and happy the IP is coming back at all, it’s just giving Tokyo Mirage Sessions HARD

Soul Hackers is a game that oozes style and potential, and that his biggest problem is that it was made in 1997. If they do a good job, they can make a hit

I’m excited. Was kind of hoping they’d keep the 90s aesthetic but I don’t mind them going for a contemporary feel cause the art and most of the designs are dope imo.

ATLUS seems to be releasing games at a much quicker pace compared to a few years ago now that those HD demon models are finally done. Keep reusing those assets ATLUS.

August release is surprising as well. I’m really happy with this trend of announcing games and releasing shortly after.

Another thing. I love my Switch and all but people need to just bite the bullet and buy another console or build a PC at this point. I see so many people melting down over this not having a Switch version and part of me understands, but still.

I’m not saying you SHOULD have to spend ~$500 just to play one game but it’s not just one game anymore. God damn these niggas are annoying sometimes.

I think the problem is how enjoyable it’s been playing these games on handheld last decade. Nintendo held mainline and the other spin-offs down last decade where Sony and Xbox had no parts. I’m happy this is on both but to just leave Switch out is crazy. I just much prefer handheld for my JRPGs I’m general

I think its a bit wild that sh2 isn't on switch when sh came to west because of the 3ds lol. Specially after V came out but I have access to a ps4 and ok pc. But I agree handheld rpgs is why I put up with the crummy switch performance.

Atlus dropping a game on Xbox and not switch is wild. I do think a switch port will come eventually if this is already multiplat to begin with, but then again this is Atlus we’re talking about

Absolutely ill Suck it up in the end honestly because I have a series X and PS5. But I absolutely hate playing JRPGs on my TV now lol. Also with the eshop closing and no access to the og soul hackers soon this definitely is an interesting situation
