He's growing on me
i liked the long hair at first, but didn't love it. seeing more gameplay/screenshots make me like the design quite a bit now. actually love his regular design in his school uniform.
90% sounds good. This is clearly not a rush job like Cyberpunk. Also MC has the best MC design i've seen in a long time.
The elemental death animations look amazing, loved them on IV and apocalypse but seeing them on 3d models makes them even better
thank u wes forgot to post yesterday lmao
there's no way this won't be the best SMT game, like holy f*** this looks incredible. November is too far away
10 hours into Nocturne

Im sure it will, game is more ambitious than anything i could've ever imagined. They could've gone for SMT IV 2 but they f***ed around and put original animations for all models and the world map reminiscent of nier automata
Thoughts?
I’m about 15 hours in now
It’s my first SMT so keep that in mind although I’ve played a few other JRPGs so I know what to expect
I’m excited to play more and hopefully finish it eventually
Nocturne is $30 at GameStop jump on that
should've been that at launch
If they had the DLC included I think $40 would’ve been fine but it’s very clear that they priced it way too high originally

agreed. figured there's no way it'd be under $40, but $50 is a bit ridiculous. i got it on PC for $40, so i was cool with that. was really only a matter of time before the price dropped to a more reasonable price. tbh the smt games are worth more than their usual msrp since i love these games, but the prices are still dumb.
have you gotten any further since your last post?

I haven’t since I been hanging with my friends and s*** but I’ve been fiending for it a lil
The portability on switch is f***ing GOAT. I took a bike ride the other day and stopped somewhere to play and smoke it was dope
I wanna beat the game bad

enjoy it man, it's a great game
beat thor in nocturne a few weeks ago but kinda struggling to find the time to play more. got destroyed by dante next boss (playing dante version for the authentic featuring dante from the devil may cry series experience) too last time i played.
kinda miss the later series qol improvements
Your SMT games ranking?
@wes i think but if u talking about me it’s my first SMT game I’ve only played P5R

Nah i’m just asking in general i wanna know what everyones favs are
Also P5R is one of my fav games of all time, so f***ing good
So I’m curious. Is SMT V likely to be similar in terms of structure to Nocturne?
Because from what I’ve seen it looks mostly looks like you just run down samey corridors and then do battle, rinse and repeat.
I always see “hardcore gamers” disregard the Persona series and say SMT is better, but from what I’ve seen the only thing that can result in such a take is the fact that it appears to be much harder, and that’s really about it.
Is that really about it?

You gotta play the games to understand why they're loved tbh. And no, smt v seems different from nocturne

I like persona way more but the smt games have a charm you just dont see anywhere else, they’re very good games you should pick up Nocturne when/if it gets cheaper and see for yourself
i have 19 hours played on my save but my switch game time says 27 hours so thats how much time ive wasted being stupid and dying in Nocturne
