Honestly due to the Rona kinda messing s*** up for a lot of amateur, G-League, college players who had their seasons' cut short I believe the NBA allowed for more people to get some workouts in with if they had some good connections.

Travis having an in with Jordan/Nike, James Harden, the Houston Rockets, and possible Drake looking out too with his role with the Toronto Raptors Sheck possible had some strings pulled to get him workouts and get him eligibility for the draft.
