It is kinda crazy how in the 2020’s he turned into the type of rapper he would have made fun of in 2011-2013

But only so much pointless forced angst against s*** because its popular one can have

Nuance is key here though. He was actively being shunned by the community because he made unconventional music during this time period. It’s even more f***ed up when Eminem was praised by the black community for making close to the same music 10 years prior. That’s why he was pissed and did that. Like imagine you’re a 19 year old kid writing, producing, creatively directing a collective, making merch, covers, videos, etc and your own community won’t support you for it.

Obviously he knows how wrong he was but this was also the early 2010s when this was considered “normal shade” too. It didn’t age well at all but there’s certainly a lot of nuance that niggas just don’t wanna talk about now.

These cats been jacking styles since Naruto dropped on toonami.

We all know Tyler takes heavy inspiration from asap nast these days but he used to be original. Hes like kakashi, he wasn’t born with the SHARINGAN but he perfected it.

Logic stole his whole s*** from everyone. One album he sound like Kendrick, one album he sounds like Travis and one album he sounds like another rapper. Logic got mangekyo for sure.

And then we got Travis. Good god. My son Travis stole from so many people in so many ways. He stole the beat for d**** you should try, he stole swae lees flow on antidote, he stole Rocky’s whole look. Travis Scott is danzo.

I think Travis got the most mileage man. Logic can actually rap, Tyler makes beats, Travis is a thief in the night. My son Travis lives by the motto of good artists copy great artists steal.

But what do you think? Who got the most mileage?

I'd say Travis tbh bc after Astroworld, Travis gained so many mindless stans acting like he re-invented rap music. I didn't always have on the guy, but it's the attitude of his f***ing fans that piss me off so much.

Logic got far but you can argue a lot of people still don't respect him

I’m sure he felt some of what you’re saying

But i actually got a burnt CD of Goblin from a homie who I’d consider to be way more “street” “hood” or whatever than me lol type nigga where niggas used to be at his crib sitting around a desktop computer smoking blunts playing Boosie 😆 funny example and my dog had eclectic tastes lol but just saying it was definitely some “niggas” that gave him a chance
