It's a terrible show.

I just finished season 1 and there's literally a scene of somebody slowly cutting a rope. The most stupid idea you'd get for "character A needs to get access to character B but has difficulties". Literally what a child would come up with to illustrate the idea! I checked the IMDB of the writer and, yeah, he has only written for Severance and is the showrunner apparently. The final twist was made obvious in the previous episode because there was a very heavy scene out of nowhere with very obvious dialogue.

I only struggled through it because people say season 2 is fun!

• Finds himself in the middle of nowhere and feels uncomfortable
• Helena whom he already distrusts making that rude comment during the marshmallow experience
• Lastly, the dream.

Knowing he’s ex-military and potentially reintegrated it was going to happen at some point

I’m watching the epi now. I’m the scene with Helly and Irv in the tent. This is Helena fs. The little micro expressions are so devious. Her face flashes anger for a split second and then goes back to patronizing pity. She also pulls her head back up after she says “ I told you” in a very authoritative “I’m used to power” type way.
