Fire first episode.
they successfully gave them the illusion of choice. They are all happy to be back there as if they decided that all by themselves. Also that's def outie Helly doing damage control. Ben Stiller done it once again
damn they really did
everybody in my building talking about today.
so many theories to discuss just off one episode
we have not been this back since season 3 and 4 Succession
minimal convo on my end
they botched this by doing a "surprise" release.

i agree with the botch

i think they can do a better job at releases but it wasn't really a surprise. Every Apple show has dropped 9pm the previous day as far back as i can remember. Even flagship shows like Ted Lasso
I do feel like since they do 9pm they can utilize it as an opportunity to be like an HBO or something with group watching. But otherwise its just like any streaming drop where audience watches at different times.

whatever it may be, their entire marketing department posted that it was a friday release, which in really no way was it.

Fair critique. They've never marketed the actual 9pm or provided clarity on it. Wish they did
I believe some streamers and companies in general use UTC as their timezone to market releases. It's an international time and this released Friday under that time zone.

the problem was they all said it was releasing at midnight for weeks
my milkshake keep all the boys at the job

pretty much all albums are marketed as friday releases
and they all come out Thursday night
Idk man something is not right with Helly
that's E not R, stay woke
the problem was they all said it was releasing at midnight for weeks
it's on streaming
i dont rly get why the timing's an issue
pretty much all albums are marketed as friday releases
and they all come out Thursday night
which is objectively a problem for consumption
shout out tyler the creator kendrick and severance for dropping when people are able to watch and listen

if you dont get it it's okay
but watching a show with a community of fans all at the exact same time and the anticipation and routine and post episode discussion weekly is an amazing way to enjoy good TV
edit:im pretty sure we're on the same page lol

just gotta hit up the groupchat to coordinate it
which would be the case anyway

yeah I think so too
Was Milchick lying to Dylan about the family suite? Because he said “if you take the name of the room at face value, I’d say yes” and idk that gave me a vibe, it seemed evasive. Also, I agree with the outie Helly theory, her body language is strange. amazing stuff fr. Been such a long wait and I have complete faith it’s gonna pay off.

rewatch that Milchick scene.
After he says that to Dylan his face goes

Yeah I’m gonna probably rewatch this episode a few times before the next one tbh
Oh that would make it make sense
I disagree:
every Innie re-entered the office on the heels of their finale moments— Mark was shook, Irv was knocking— Helly had just been tackled but she just kinda... strolls out of the elevator unphased
yall thinking this episode was all innies becasue it is called "goodbye ms cobel" and the next one will be all outies because it's "hello ms selvig"?
already confirmed pre-premiere
