Im enjoying season 2 a lot
We all are brother.
But we’re finally reaching the limit on the astronomic expectations we all had. It was bound to happen.
We’re still in the green.
show has been so good and well made and well shot for the most part that you gotta give them the benefit of the doubt for the finale
wasn't crazy about last ep, enjoyed the cobel ep but understand it has kinda made the pacing screwy. but i believe they'll pull it off
Season 1 last ep before the finale I was excited for what they were doing and what was going to happen in the final episode
Now I don’t feel excited for what they are doing … I don’t really know what they’re doing.
I think the only way they can win me back at this point is if they kill someone off? I’m not sure
I don’t think I will be watching season 3 unless I hear it’s amazing oh and only once it’s already almost over lol

I’m confused about Irving specifically.
That looked like a classic goodbye to a character; but no way that was it for him.

See how easy it is to elaborate on your feelings about the show instead of making a rage bait post? You’re welcome, glad I could get you there
Again I don’t care if you dislike or are disappointed in the show, people’s criticisms are valid regardless if they’re in the minority and many others disagree. I’m not someone who’s blindly sucking off the show like that complete moron said above. There’s been structural issues that have caused jarring pacing switches in these last couple episodes, and the whole Reghabi/Devon/Cobel situation was admittedly bad writing in a show that typically has great writing. So no, it hasn’t been perfect. Now that being said, implying that episode 7 was trash and describing this season as all filler are laughable takes imo and I’ll leave it at that lol
Also the GoT comparison is a reach. 6 full seasons before a show turns to s*** vs 1 full season before a show (in your eyes) turns to s*** is a crazy difference. There’s no way you’re telling me you’re that invested after 1 season.

FYI I have it on good authority the finale slaps as hard as the first season’s did
That’s the issue.
First season ended on such a big cliffhanger and the entire season two hasn’t even given a single answer to that finale.
Up until like ep 5 of season two I was ready to start listing this show up with the greats, but second half of s2 has been such a mess.
Cliffhanger after cliffhanger with no resolutions. I was actually extremely annoyed with the last episode.
That being said, getting severed to d*** down Helly R is something I would do in a heartbeat. I know that p**** go crazy.
One more episode then I can binge
Just start now, last ep out in 3 days

I'll have to rewatch season 1 anyway so I can fully get up to speed

I said weeks ago that it is obvious bad writing when a character whose main motivation for severance is grieving his dead wife discovers that his dead wife isn't dead and basically says: "Oh. Okay."
Fun concept. Fun shots. Fun actors. But these writers are clearly incompetent.
When does that happen in the show?
When does that happen in the show?
That’s what I’m trying to figure out!!!! Mf’s acting like Mark is just being a great sport
One more episode then I can binge
Again?
Idk if they could top first seasons finale the way the last few ep been moving
They rly built a slow and steady race all to rely on this last ep

Luca Doncic (Severance) is dangerous because he’s a master of deceleration and uses the brief moment when his defenders (you) fall for it, to take advantage and avg 26 8 and 8 on you hos.

Mfer get out of here
I think the writer had a specific story to tell with a specific vision in season 1.
The writer and Apple ended up producing a hit show.
Now the writer has to deliver with a corporate financier interested in its continued success. The result is an overwrought story written by someone who might be in over their head.
This season had so many incomplete subplots that made the show seem meandering:
Miss Huang? The lady helping Mark? Mark’s brother in law writing for Lumon? The painting Milchick received? The department with goats and feral people? The lady from GoT? Dylan and his wife? Gemma’s dentist? Mark and Helly’s relationship? Helena posing as Helly?Irving’s obsession with the dark floor?
I could probably keep going. And some of these are nitpicks.
It’s not that these ideas are wrong for existing. Their inclusion and sequence is the problem for me. The last time Miss Huang played any meaningful part in the story was like 4 episodes ago.
Compare this season to this season’s White Lotus and you can see the difference in focus.

at this point its been 13 episodes since the goats were introduced and instead of giving an answer on that they’re just piling on more mystery instead. when that keeps happening its hard to get invested in the new mysteries.
fundamentally disagree with a lot of the above tbh. I dont think the show has displayed much if any cycnicsm about the 'mysteries' and it would actually be a lot more corpo led cynical if we had to have a neatly wrapped up 'answer' to why there's goats in a room or w/e lol. The lines get blurred in places but I think the show pretty obviously doesn't want to get into the weeds on every little detail either: it's about cultivating an atmosphere and an image of lumon as mysterious, cult like.
examples of actual cynical mystery boxing to me includes stuff like Westworld, the force Awakens etc

yeah i got the same vibe too. this season has been too abstract and kinda meanders.
