no idea how they’re gonna wrap this up
Some things will be answered but we all know they gonna leave us with a cliffhanger that should be illegal
Is anyone else completely lost with what’s actually happening?
what’s got you confused rn
Wouldn’t Dylan’s wife and his innie already be wearing wedding rings?
innies can’t wear rings or they’d know they’re married
they even have special stores for severance compatible clothes which don’t have labels etc
what’s got you confused rn
Irving storyline
How Helly thinks she’s gonna memorise all those directions
Cobel not speaking like a normal f***ing human being. Even Mark is telling her to speak properly
The Dylan storyline going absolutely nowhere (there’s no way he’s done from this show but why do we care about his wife at all?)
No explanation for the goats at all the season
The ‘doctor’ doing all that on Mark to immediately f*** off because she’s not happy with Cobel.
This is always my biggest issue with some shows is when they cannot have a normal conversations. It’s obviously done so the audience don’t know what’s about to happen but there’s so many better ways than Cobel saying “she will be gone” as from a character point of view what can Mark take from that?

Doubt they would allow innies to wear wedding rings cuz that gives them info on their outside life

That doctor going thru all that trouble to unsever mark and then just dipping out was some grade a BULLSHIT contrived to force Cobel back into the story

Completely agree.
For someone who was desperate to do this and take Lumon down it would make no sense to immediately leave with no fight. If anything she could hear Cobel out and if it’s some bullshit just disappear.

I really hope Irving comes back fs but I looked at his leaving as Lumen just using Burt to get rid of him cause they knew he was on their s*** and he’s a risk to Cold Harbor not happening, he got a chance to get off Scott free and took it
Helly been down for the cause the whole show and is desperate to try anything, why wouldn’t she try to remember it?
Cobel doesn’t speak like a normal person cause she’s been raised in the Eagan cult her whole life, this is all she knows
The Dylan storyline just looks like an excuse to play with the “your wife/husband cheated on you with yourself” and how someone would react to it, Ben Stiller even alluded to this in the behind the scenes after the latest EP
The goats may or may not ever be explained but we got a whole other season for it to be revealed
The Devon/Reghabi/Cobel storyline def the arc where a lot of the characters actions aren’t making sense I’ll give you that one
The face cobel makes combined with her standing in front of the fire was f***ing hilarious, this episode made me laugh like no other in the show
The only EP I thought was underwhelming was the Cobel ep and even that was fire in the last 10 mins, just cause a couple weren’t around the center story didn’t mean it was bad
That Gemma ep was some of the best s*** in the whole show and was nothing like any other eps
That doctor going thru all that trouble to unsever mark and then just dipping out was some grade a BULLSHIT contrived to force Cobel back into the story
and she was in such a rush to perform on mark

Regarding the goats specifically, back in 2022 the creator said that the goats weren’t allowed to be written into the show until they ensured that they had an explanation for them that would be revealed down the line, trying to avoid mistakes that previous mystery shows made like the “Hurley Birds” in Lost

are you saying her story was wrapped up neatly and that she had no reason to return?
season 1 makes it clear cobel is a significant character whose past is fundamentally important to the entire story.
there's a lot of worldbuilding/laying the groundwork for the rest of the series with the implicit promise to the viewer (an unwritten contract even) that we will learn that history, that we'll see why she is the person she is (and why she as a non-severed person lives her life in a form of self imposed severance)
there'd be no justification to end her story halfway through season 2. if anything her existence as a character pretty much needs to be justified atp.
she was literally mark's neighbor for three years. dude deserves answers, and so do we given that he's the main character.
there's much to learn about the cult of kier and she's the most devout/loyal follower we've seen throughout s1 and 2.

I would say he didn’t say that. It’s more annoying HOW she was brought back in rather than why
maybe I'm being dumb but I still don't really get what talking to marks innie is going to achieve? iirc he hasn't seen Gemma on the severed floor since he started investigating and outie Mark is basically able to perceive (or unable to distinguish) between in and out experiences now anyway. unless they reveal something innie Mark has done off screen on the severed floor at the start of the next ep, it seems a bit inexplicable. Maybe it'll be Cobel having some master plan idk
maybe nit picky but I feel like they've painted themselves into a corner story wise now by cold harbour basically being a way to stress test severance by extreme heartbreak via killing Gemma. Like I don't know how Mark is meant to go back to the severed floor now because they will clearly force him to refine data if he does?

Yeah was she angry? Or shocked that she was talking to innie mark aagin? I laughed too
