Absolutely horrid episode
I think this episode is the sole reason its 10 episodes instead of 9 again. Also don't think its a throwaway especially when Stiller took it for himself to direct. It's necessary, just hard to evaluate cus we all wanna go back to Mark and the rest, and don't know where it fits come penultimate and finale.
Ending alone answered several long-running questions and killed multiple theories simultaneously
Holy s***. My mom came into my room to bring me a plate of chicken nuggets and I literally screamed at her and hit the plate of chicken nuggets out of her hand. She started yelling and swearing at me and I slammed the door on her. I'm so distressed right now I don't know what to do. I didn't mean to do that to my mom but I'm literally in shock from the episode tonight. I feel like I'm going to explode. Where the f*** is Mr. Milchick? This can't be happening. I'm having a f***ing breakdown. I don't want to believe the show is bad now. I want a story to believe in. I want Mark to save his wife. I cannot f***ing deal with this right now. It wasn't supposed to be like this, I thought they were supposed to follow a linear narrative???? This is so f***ed.
weakest episode this season, although every episode up until this point has been amazing
i understand that it will likely be necessary for future plot points, but not sure if it needed an entire episode
This episode was miles better than last episode
Strangely mid episode this week.
I still really dislike this “Cobel is an ally now” angle. It’s very forced and makes no sense for the characters. Why are you calling the b**** who happens to be a centerpiece to the whole conspiracy and someone who fake stole your baby?
Kinda frustrating when the writing elsewhere has been good.

Who said she's a genuine ally tho. We don't know her intentions or what Mark learned from waking up for him to have been okay with Devon calling
Something happened in between her contemplating calling Cobel and hours if not a day later calling Cobel with Mark awake by her side

Idk if Cobel has genuinely turned or not. I’m more saying I don’t think it makes sense to have Devon call her in the first place.

We're wayy past the baby thing now tho. Devon called and said "we want to try something else" beyond reintegration. Her and Mark know something massive that we'll see next episode. Cobel is the most knowledgable person regarding severance procedure and how to get around it. Maybe they realized it too and are willing to put aside old issues
I feel like these last 3 episodes of this season are gonna be generational television
I also think this season shares a lot of similarities to Mr. Robot Season 2
I was trying to put my finger on how to describe this season and that Mr Robot comp is beyond perfect
Been some absolutely amazing developments but ngl so far the show hasn’t hit the high of the ‘let’s burn this place to the ground’ moment to season finale run of S1 since then. Let’s see how they end things out tho
yea I feel like this episode coulda been condensed but the reveal at the end is very interesting
Last two weeks have both been fumbles, not loving the direction this is suddenly going

Epi 7 a fumble?
This brother is crazy

I didn’t enjoy the sudden full reveal, felt it would have worked better sprinkled throughout the season. Also the Devon teaming up with Cobel thing that last two episodes has to be one of my least favorite plot developments of all time. it barely makes sense

Nothing was really revealed in epi 7. They pulled the strings, but the story knot is still tight. There’s thousands of comments in the subreddit still theorizing what’s happening. In think it makes sense. Reghabi can’t help further, mark is having a seizure and her only other Lumon contact is Cobel. Her brother is dying so she called

Devon was always the most level headed character but suddenly she wants to call the woman who was her brother's boss, nearly stole her new born and was spying on the family for months. Not even this show is immune from dumbing down characters for plot progression. Also they dragged the fuuuck out of this episode.

Didn't think motives and backstory would have people in an uproar, then again people want to be directly spoonfed with every bit of information at once
New episode is ass, what the hell
