There was a video of some guy interviewing fans outside one of his shows. Wish I could find it. They all seemed like idiots

Nowhere for him to grow here.

He's practically exiled from being taken serious by the culture and has to be escorted around its outskirts by an already established artist for protection and charting capability (like Nicki, and whoever chooses to work with him from hereon out).

Musically he can be successful, nobody's denying that.

But he's a joke and a punching bag that has no choice but to force situations with others for attention.

  • 6ix9ine will be here for a while lol. When he inevitably falls off in the US, he will just dip into the international bag

Charting high does not equal longevity

Pump had a #1 hit and look where he is now. Yachty was the hottest rapper out 4 years ago and by 2017 had fumbled the bag

I wanted to respond to this because those are all complete different situations. Pump Gucci gang carried him the whole 17. With a low tier mixtape. Anyone could see that this nigga wouldn’t be able to make atleast a 4 year run. Yachty on the other hand was indeed one of the hottest out 2016. The media was tearing him down and calling him trash etc. saying he couldn’t rap. He sorta abandoned that goofy melodic trap music and started monotone rapping trying to prove niggas wrong who didn’t even like his music in the first place. Which is why he slowly fell off. And of course teenage emotions. A s***ty attempt at a pop album. This is why you have yachty still doing this monotone rapping over beats

Genuinely curious and not hating.. (barring he doesn’t get shot, which he most likely won’t) how long do you think he can keep up the antics and trolling before it goes the lil pump route? In theory his fans will eventually get older and grow out of finding it funny right? Or do y’all think he has potential to grow into something monumental?

his label is already preparing for his transition into the latin music scene. he'll be alright

6ix9ine honestly has more staying power than most people in the mix

dude's whole charisma and character (like trump) is doing stupid s***, it's beneficial to him. the peak is gonna end next year, but the only thing that can completely end him at this point is if he goes back to prison.
