legitimately surprised people hold this album in such high regard. high quality album that dropped in quality when drake decided he needed to redo half the album to address kanye and push
how does op this is isnt dated when half of side a is addressing an in the moment beef. has some classica drake songs but this album was kneecapped right before release. if drake hadnt beefed with push this album wouldve been of a higher quality
Garbage juice album
yeah nah
That entire years was his so it's classic automatically obviously
As a huge Drake fan that’s not how you dictate a classic album ya dunce
After Dark could be a generational track if Drake rewrote his verse and removed the outro 🤷♂️
that sample is majestic and Ty$ verse is amazing
Im a fan of Hip Hop Drake first and foremost, I enjoy his RnB and pop stuff too but my favorite is defiant arrogant Drake who is throwing his weight around flexing over hard boi1da vinylz tay kieth production engineered by 40
By that metric solo project wise it goes
IYRTITL
NWTS
Scorpion
For me
Ofc its a classic
Been on Billboard since release with no signs of leavi ng
Replay value of the whole album is insane
Post 2015 Drake discog is like Jay-Z’s if he never dropped s*** like The Blueprint, The Black Album, American Gangster, 444 etc
It’s like a bunch of Vol 2, Vol 3, Blueprint 2, Kingdom Come, Blueprint 3, MCHG level s*** lol. High Highs, flashes of greatness, but low lows and cringe worthy
Scorp is definitely a Blueprint 2 type quality album

I wouldn't say that. Drake's albums post-2015 are a lot more impactful, remembered/referenced and successful than a lot of those Jay Z album you mentioned. I think Drake has released the best music of his career post-2015 and l also think many of the albums from that time period are aging/will age better than most of the Jay Z albums you mentioned.
We're still talking about albums like Views, More Life, CLB, Her Loss and Honestly, Nevermind almost weekly and all those albums dropped less than 10 years ago.
Most Jay Z fans have to go back to Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint or the Black Album to talk about his best career offerings and that simply isn't the case with Drake.
No album with I'm Upset on it can ever be a classic unfortunately
I’m Upset slander I don’t think so
