Satanyup, they're gonna come to a "compromise" on gun control and that compromise will be a ban on mental ill people owning firearms, as long as they can include gender/sexual orientation non-conformity into it.

S***, I'd be defending them whether they were trans or not. I just want things to change and it's clear from Jan. 6th that these people will stop at nothing to impose their worldview on us.
It's just so funny that people are quick to put a label on identity when the fact is children are dead; maybe if it was their own, they'd understand how indistinct that hurt is. Probably not though, which is why I'm not censoring myself.

Mar 28, 2023whothehellknowsI'd assume they would have more of a clear and cogent reason for the presumed act if it was targeted as such; I personally believe that talking about political violence needs to be dealt with neutrality, especially when we know from Jan 6th that conservatives are very much willing to both die, and most importantly, kill for what they believe in.
I find it very troubling that the left hasn't found their own way to be assertive and stand up for ourselves in a similar fashion; I'd like to think we'd have just as much fight in us, if not more.
Unfortunately, that requires being real about the situation, and the way its looking, it may very well turn into an necessity that we figure out what we're willing to die and kill for, as well. That's about the safest way I could put it.

Clearly white men should be banned from having guns, that's a solution I'd like to see put in place. I bet anything mass shootings would plummet, but you'd have a better chance of a general gun ban than that.

Lemme ask you a similar question: how can you look at all those instances of right-wing violence and see them as merely isolated incidents?If a trans person took it upon themselves to do the same with more intent and purpose, as barbaric as it sounds, it would at least be more sensical from their skewed perspective instead of killing for the sake of preserving the white race or eliminating certain groups like the people I've mentioned.
Even people in non-political mass shootings tend to give deference (not a lack of accountability, mind you) to mental illness as a legitimate issue that needs to be adressed. That's ultimately the core of what I'm saying: at the end of the day, the right-wing tends to shoot more deliberately and with purpose. No, no, no, no, no. Direct action by and large does not work, you have to be incredibly short-sighted to think that killing your political opponents makes your problems go away, for a worst-case scenario, see Gavrilo Princip
Shinzo Abe was a rare exception in that the shooter's wishes were carried out, and people mostly agreed with his motives, but it was unusual for being such an exception, most of the time it just creates martyrs and boldens the resolve of the target's allies, what you're proposing is that America become a churning battleground of mass shootings until Something Good happens and it all stops
I'm guessing you're not a fan of Donald Trump right? Me neither! But can you imagine the turmoil the US would be plunged into if he was (you know) by a left-winger? He's not an area boss, his supporters wouldn't just scatter and disappear, their ideology wouldn't fall out of their head, they'd become vengeful and things would get a lot worse.
