LouIt’s fascinating that these mass shooters, who are often jaded with the status quo and resent authority, typically decide to kill some of the least powerful people in society, like students or random ppl at a supermarket. Very bizarre
I’m assuming they try and pick easy/defenseless targets because it’ll create more national uproar and bring attention to them when they felt silenced compared to if they attempted to kill say lawmakers
Killing children everyone can agree is awful, killing men in suits that are viewed as suppressors would sadly have a fraction of people saying “good F ‘em”

If it was someone mad at lax gun laws they could pick better targets than school children. Nobody makes sense in this country. Nobody ever attacks the law makers houses.

this is solely my opinion and not meant to be viewed as fact, this is solely for discussion on a discussion forum
This being (from what I’ve heard) a former student of the Christian school who has since transitioned makes me wonder if they felt shunned by the school or its teachings that their life choices were wrong.
They could have potentially been bullied for how they felt, told they were going to hell or potentially victimized by someone from the school and felt justice wasn’t served or the religious teachings of the school silenced their story of abuse.
Regardless, what they did is absolutely awful you do not bring innocent children into your plan for vengeance but just trying to make sense of why they would do this

Trauma lives forever. I was sexually abused 20 years ago and was crying about it to a psychiatrist(not even an actual therapist) literally last week.
