Some of the spinoff ones are funny in a "this is horrible but also dated as f***" kinda way that can be enjoyable depending on what mileage you get out of that kinda stuff (i.e. meet the spartans, epic movie, vampires suck, dance flick, etc)

No clever humor just hella references with some grossness added in. But you right that you end of having fun with it just cuz of how terrible it is

Scarie movie 4 is a far funnier version of that kind of comedy and as dated as its spoofs are the tom cruise nurse parody still works for me lmao

The ending to Scary Movie is actually really good for that alone (yea ik it's a parody but it hits harder bc you don't expect it)

Super hero movie is from the dude who made stuff like airplane and scary movie 3-5. Goofy cheesy and lots of “bonk on the head/kick in the nuts” jokes

Date/disaster/epic movie/meet the Spartans is friedburg and seltzer, legit comedy terrorists. They don’t parody movies much just reference them. “Random celebrity WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!!” ass s***

I still remember seeing Why Him on a whim in theatres with some friends. At the end of the movie Kiss show up for basically no reason, and this whole crowd of 50somethings behind us started cheering just at the site of them

Friedburg and Seltzer built their career by suing for credit they didn't deserve on Scary Movie. They had done one little parody type video with Leslie Nielsen of Zucker-Abraham-Zucker fame. They wrote a bad horror parody script. Had nothing to do with the Wayans work. Complete frauds.
