u think so? I See bruno has a steady hold on radio which has me thinking drake might not get the #1
Bruno and Bieber are the two wildcards in the situation but I think Drakes streaming numbers are gonna be pretty absurd
what ?
100k of 3 songs still absolutely insane
so this has like 10 times the hype dldt has
i wouldnt say that.. people are hungry for drake and 3 songs is less songs to divide streams among ykno? easier to digest than a 14 song tape where half the songs been circulating online already
All of those except All Mine took more than a year
Laugh Now Cry Later was at 2.5M units in 4 months
Go stream JIK, maybe we can make a thread about it going platinum after in 1/2 years
huh
Maybe this will inspire Kendrick to put at least something out.
Even a loosie will suffice.

yeah idk man, this is nuts
Yeah but people are obviously mistaking it as similar to an album doing 1 million first week which is not close at all.
10 track units = 1 album sale right?

spotify is taking forever to update
I think Drake is learning not to saturate himself too much which is a good thing for his career.
In 2018, he was becoming way too oversaturated which is why even casuals were siding with Pusha during that beef. Nigga was just everywhere while putting out underwhelming music like Wayne in 2011 or 50 Cent in 2005.
I could see Drake's run still going strong if he keeps this up.

I had been saying that he was over saturating himself since 2011, but then he proved me wrong with every new album lmao. I think he’ll be successful no matter what at this point
3 songs from Drake sells more than an entire album from 99% of the artists in the game
This is so ridiculous, the world will never see something like this again. Greatest of all time.

True but back then(2011-2015) he was putting out his prime music so he got a pass. In 2016-2018, he kept saturating himself while the quality went down, hence the increase in haters.
But yeah...I don't see Drake's run being over soon unless he retires.
Main reason is that newer rappers are too dysfunctional to knock him off his throne.
A lot of them wound up killed, going to jail, or destroying their image on social media if they make good music or their music is just too bland and generic to compete.
Edit: Btw, are you the poster who used to have a Michael Cera avi on the old KTT?

Scorpion and C4 singles were goat they ran their year.
Drake dropping more now then before with DLDT and care package.

streaming is saying what's next > wants and needs > lemon pepper freestyle > hold on > let the door open > silk sonic intro
justin and bruno are neck and neck besides the silk sonic intro

Oh. They ran it. But I'm also talking about the level of respect.
C4 era Wayne wasn't as godlike as 04-08 era Wayne and Scorpion era Drake didn't get the same love that 11-15 era Drake did.
If IYRTITL era Drake beefed with Pusha, people would've clowned tf outta Pusha T for bringing TMZ gossip into a rap beef for victory.
But Scorpion era Drake made tons of people side with Pusha.
That's what I mean. I'm talking about saturation and the notable decline in quality. Not just how many features/hits they had.
follow god
ghost town
all mine
yikes
out now
Some of those came out three years ago fam
