That's like asking well we ever see a great athlete again like yes the system makes it to where they find one even if it's highly manufactured

we need entertainment, the entertainment business needs money

Was the world digging Trollz that half second it spent at #1? Streaming has made the charts incredibly volatile at the top, so longevity is a better measure of public opinion, whereas the debut is a measure of hype.

Let's see where they're at in a week or two.

Idk man, I see what you’re saying but drake is one of those “perfect storm” artist.

Just like there will never be a run of dominance like prince or MJs in pop music, I don’t think we’ll ever see another run like drakes in hip hop (even tho drakes non hip hop songs contribute a lot to his popularity)

We will see tho, you’re right. A lot of people never thought anyone would be bigger than 50, nelly, jay z...and then drake came

Eminem and adele outsold drake last decade (in total)

Eminem is still the best selling rapper oat despite not being "dominant" anymore

Drake is not nowhere near mj levels dominant

Mj has decades of dominance with longer album periods in between

Artist today flood the market like drake (short album cycles) or 50 (abundance of mixtapes) or rihanna who released an album each year for 7 years

That's how modern pop acts establish dominance - agressive marketing and over-exposure

I'd say that Nicki minaj doing all those features would be flooding the market too - they create this illusion that they that need to be out there constantly or else they're falling off whilst being the top artists and having major industry push and pull
