Hmmmm I don’t agree with that last paragraph because in the middle of all of that we still got the rap songs Joe and everyone wanted. This was honestly the start of Drake bloating projects to please everyone. I feel like his best project in recent years, Honestly Nevermind, was so good because he made what he wanted to make for him

No that was Take Care 2 that was supposed to drop before FATD but he shelved it since Joe Budden wanted it to be more rap heavy

S*** is too long for most people. It’s just not a pleasant experience. I think it’s good too and I think some of the hate was a little unfair and overblown, but all he had to do was trim it and it would’ve been praised

I don’t think it’s just people writing it off from track number, it’s just, barely any one even has the time or energy to fully listen to the album more than a couple times, so you’re going to get some surface level takes because it’s hard to digest it all.

Like, you gotta be a real music nerd to have heard the whole drake album in full, that’s a fact and it shouldn’t be like that
