You realize way before Tiktok, the format of the vinyl record limited album lengths to like 45 minutes. And there’s just no question that’s the ideal length for an album. And even when double albums first started in the 60s, people would say the artist should’ve trimmed it to one LP and it would’ve been better.

There’s times where it’s valid of course but for the most part, long albums aren’t that great, it’s not about not liking music. There’s just a point where more isn’t better.
