I see what that quoted tweet is getting at, but this rap style does kind of make it more introspective and make him write a little differently. the content isn’t a big switch no but approach does matter and it feels like for a rap listener you get a little bit more inside drake’s mind on here than we did on the album, which is what people missed I think. So it’s not entirely just people hearing the more traditional sound and deciding it’s better

Dont see that working, fatd has a pretty consistent sound outside of 8am imo. Just put 8am with these new tracks and make it a separate project

The sound quality on the first two songs sound way better to me, I was noticing layers of the beats that I didn’t hear as much before. But I know they updated the mix at least once after the release and before this drop
