I’m so thankful to have seen D’Angelo in concert. It was hands down the best concert experience I’ve ever had. To witness that amount of talent in person was a life changing experience. I’ll never forget it. I drove 8 hours to ATL to see him in 2015 and I’d do it again in a heart beat. I was going to see him for a second time a few months after that and then he cancelled due to being ill. If I’d never gotten the opportunity, it would have haunted me for the rest of my life.
