Like it's corny as hell. All this nigga Ebro does is huff and puff like an old fart in his chair about how mainstream rap has declined and he literally has a platform to change that or at least give people he feels deserves to be more known more shine. Instead he folds to the label checks and puts artists he doesn't even like on his. He's literally no better but feels he gets to b**** and moan

    Yeah.

I think Joey Badass called them out on it during an interview one time

  • Chris M

imagine calling this situation PTSD...foh lol I hate these b****es

always knew you were an loser

  • Mar 24, 2021

It’s too many niggas that talk about music like it’s sole purpose in being made was for it to reach their ears and be critiqued by them

You’re a lame and you don’t even do anything creative !!!!!

There isn’t a career in the world where you aren’t going to be met with some criticism. Gotta show some grit sometimes

  • Mar 24, 2021

    People are allowed to critique.

People are also allowed to react to said critique.

Yalll laughing but imagine being told you suck at your dream in front of people like that

Madison Mcferrin had the whole country clowning her for her rendition of the National Anthem. This was during Hillary Clinton's run. It was bad but you win some and lose some. She bounced back and put out one of the best albums I've ever heard in You + I. She had immense pressure especially because her brother is on Brainfeeder and her pops is Bobby Mcferrin.

You gotta develop thick skin in the rap game. A Pitchfork review ruined Mac Miller and it was horrible to see. But he got past it. And then there was the Lil Debbie situation on Sway and it happened live. She's still rapping.

How many artists get clowned daily for not being able to rap?

Yeah I understand that but given her profession you have to go through a lot of that type of criticism to get to the point of where she’s at. Or at least that’s how it used to be before anyone could be put on the map. I guess to me “PTSD” seems like a stretch especially considering my dad suffers from real PTSD from the military and I’m sure it’s worse than what she has to deal with. That’s just me though

Rosenburg’s a brittle spirit tho lol

    so..?

if ebro calling you basic is giving you ptsd, how are you gonna overcome real challenges in a twisted inudstry?

  • Mar 24, 2021
    JR

    Yes.

At the end of the day, artists are humans too bro. Saweetie never said ebro shouldnt have said what she said. She just said how she reacted to it.

If more rappers were actually honest, youd see a loooooot of these niggas dont really have “thick skin.”

They just dont put all they feelings out there for the public to clown and dissect. Like rn in this thread

  • Mar 24, 2021

Ebro really wasn't even being harsh now that I actually rewatch the interview.

Not everyone is going to gas you.

  • Mar 24, 2021

Ebro is f***ing trash but PTSD? Really?

I’ll agree ptsd was a strong word. But PTSD aint synonymous with just life altering s***. (And im not saying this as a slight to your pops in any way. I hope he’s in good health )

But niggas got real ptsd from a f***ing play they messed up lines on in elementary school. It happens

I mean if it was 2007 she would have never been heard of again until she dropped a s***tape lol

She’s not a very good rapper, wouldn’t be popping without her looks and tbh that’s ok

why should people lie to her and inspire more ass rappers

They did the same thing to Uzi no?

Our generation of music is kinda basic bc it’s hating to tell people to work on their craft lol

Yeah man I know what you mean. I’m trying not to be insensitive to her because I can’t imagine it would feel good to hear and people handle and deal with situations differently but the PTSD word choice is where I take issue with it. He’ll be straight man but it’s definitely not an easy life to live. I appreciate that man
