My review of this project! PLEASE READ!

I was hating on this guy the most during roll out, but tbh I do that with all my favorite artists to keep my expectations low. Well, this project genuinely exceeded my expectations. Here is my track by rack review:

Sucks to be you (8/10)- I hated this song on the live performance but absolutely loved it on the album. I love how he sings the chorus in a sad melodic tone but he sing-raps the verses in a braggadocio way. My favorite beat on the album

Switching sides (8/10)- loved the verses. This is what I want all his verses too sound like. Wasn’t too high on the chorus tho. But great song overall.

Freedom is priceless (7/10)- Very repetitive but this song definitely had potential if it was longer

Gorgeous (5/ 10)- one of my least favorite songs by him of all times. Good song maybe for a car ride to a party type thing but yeah not a fan of him rapping at all. The lyrics are lazy and cringe

HSR, reunion (8/10)- the og was 10/10 last year but this song is getting way too much hate than it deserves. I enjoyed his new verse a lot actually. Uzi wasn’t bad either. But overall I enjoyed this song

ML, election (7/10)- once again the og from last year was 10/10. Saints verse really didn’t fit the song, dababy was just trash, but I enjoyed a boogie a lot. I still give this a 7 cause the chorus is still top 10 for me

Roses remix (1/10)- future as usual ruined it and I was never a fan of the og either sooo.

Pray 4 me (8/10)- could be higher on second listen and if my expectations wasn’t so high (thanks to Reddit) lol. But not a bad song at all. Doe anyone feel like it wasn’t mastered well? Also surprisingly I really enjoyed kanye’s verse and the last time I enjoyed him as a feat was 12 years ago on put on by jeezy

Quarantine wifey (8.5/10)- Chorus was beautiful. The first verse was kinda meh to me, JID fella did his thing, but the short outro before the skit was beautiful. Might grow on me for sure on second listen

Time for demons (8.5/ 10)- for some reason I kinda don’t remember how this song sounds at all 😬 so I had to play it back rn for this review and yeah this song was fireee. Love the way he sang his verses and the chorus was fire too! Great track

Ransom (9/10)- okay this song has been stuck in my head all day and I have only heard this album once. The chorus is literally everything I wanted. I really wish kehlani had a verse and this would have been a solid 10/10

Back on the ledge- (10/10)- okay this song is LITERALLY what direction I want him to go with. This was so melodic, sad, and just beautiful! The way he sang the verse and then mid level switch the flow was beautiful! The outro was also beautiful. I kept asking if he had any super sad mellow songs on here and everyone said no. Idk why when this song was literally that. Beautiful closer! His best outro track out of all three projects

Over all this was a great album! I can see why people are disappointed. I do also seem like it was little rushed with songs like freedom is priceless and time for demon. Also pray 4 me seemed unfinished despite him saying he made changes. But this really exceeded my expectations and I can wait to run it back
