It's crazy how virtually unfindable this nigga Daoud is.

He cleared out his soundcloud too (which didn't have more than maybe like 3 tracks in general lol) which sucks cause he had a remix of Brown Sugar and probably one of my favorite flips ever of Smile by Scarface and 2pac
now it's like all I can find is a track produced by him and this f***ing fire instrumental from 5 years ago.

He’s J Cole with worse bars but better production
Id honestly say Saba is a better rapper than Cole
all the features seem to be coming into sabas musical universe, rather than him going into theirs, which is good i think
Except Herb
I like the song but I wish he got Herb on a soulful track
Id honestly say Saba is a better rapper than Cole
that's not a hot take at all and I love Cole.
It's a looooot of hot takes I'd say about Cole lyrically but I respect him as a rapper too much to even say em. But Cole can't do what Saba did on LIFE, let alone the rest of the catalog.
Saba flow game one of the coldest.
It’s iight
Care for me is just too good set my expectations way too high
I didn’t really like his new flows. Sounded weird meshed with the story telling I love so much

headphones listen did a lot for me tbh sometimes with his flows and delivery it can be difficult picking up on what he's saying sometimes but the content is still there...I think rn I prefer Care For Me as well though
The album is insanely good like goosebumps worthy good. The only song that feels out of place is the G Herbo one but holy s*** the rest of the album is sensational not a single miss
If I Had A Dollar is the kind of song that turns grey sky into a sunny one s*** makes mad happy for no reason
So is Saba a dad?
Nah
chicagoreader.com/music/saba-interview-few-good-things
The interviewer mentions ‘soldier’ and Saba says he was rapping from imagination of the world.
I’m not rapping from the perspective of family. I’m rapping as myself and imagining the world. When Pivot Gang wrote “Soldier,” that was November of 2020. It was a time when everybody’s getting up with their family, they’re going back home, but everybody’s scared out of their mind of going home. It had me thinking about if I decide to one day start a family, what that would even look like. Especially since we were already worried before there was a whole extra pandemic on top of that.
Also in that same interview he says Squeak heard this whole album (except g herbo’s verse hadn’t came in yet)
Says album was meant to be out earlier/last year but got set back cause of Squeak passing.
Man.
Bumped the album during the hotbox wit a couple of homies last night it was a vibe!
type of album you want to wake up to
i don't love that smino verse as much as i usually love his features. song is cool tho
My niggas were flowing this verse lol they used to f*** wit Smino heavy but feel he fell off after Noir. But I was F***in wit most of his verse
it worth checking out saba's other albums? I've never listened to him before and am loving this album
is this his usual quality or is this album a turn for him?

The comfort zone is my s*** that was the first Saba project I heard and it clicked instantly. That came out like 2014 think so he’s been droppin fire since

I didn’t even make it through the whole album so I’ll give it another go

Care For Me is excellent! Bucket List is decent. He has released a lot of loosies in between Care For Me and Few Good Things. Check out the songs excited, Mrs whoever, ziplock, rich don’t stop, papaya, and also Westside Bound 3. Just listen to Westside Bound 3 and then everything else actually.
Id honestly say Saba is a better rapper than Cole
Saba had a better discography than J Cole too
