No it doesn't. I think Lupe is the goat lyricist but he doesn't think so therefore I will never make my opinion weigh more than his

Hov and Mickeys opinion of Lupe also don't weigh more than his when it comes to himself.

Which goes back to my point. It doesn't matter what any of us think about how great Lupe is, he has stated that he isnt.the best therfore I have to believe him.

Lupe said out his own mouth that out opinion of lyricist don't matter to him. Lol.

Are you asking me my opinion or are you asking me what they think of each other?

I have never seen or heard Hov say Lupe is BETTER than him.

I have seen Lupe say a few ppl are better than him including HOV (multiple times and as recent as 2020) so I can only go with what each emcee says.

You're saying Lupe is not a better lyricist than Jay-Z because Lupe himself said that Jay is better.

This is where the conflict/paradox of using that argument comes in because Jay-Z himself said that Lupe is the greatest writer. So going by your argument Jay-Z isn't a better lyricist than Lupe because he himself said Lupe is the greatest writer.

Which brings me to my overall point that people say s*** to be humble and modest and not to take everything they say literally

Jay Z is a better lyrically than Lupe to Lupe. It doesn't matter what u personally thinks because in Lupes word, out opinions don't matter

JAY Z on the other hand doesn't think about lyricism like Lupe does. He doesn't think you have to be a lyricist to judge lyricist

And I have NEVER seen or heard hov say lupe is the best lyricist so that parallel is moot

My favorite lyricist is Andre.

I think Lupe is best overall and I think Rum Nitty is the best puncher

But it doesn't matter what I personally thinks because Lupe himself has said that he isn't the best.

I don't know how else to answer that question.
