Then there’s the matter of the titular Berlin nightclub. Last year, French-Lebanese DJ Arabian Panther accused Berghain of cancelling a scheduled performance due to his pro-Palestine views.
niggas just saying whatever for relevance sake lol this not getting played within 50km of berghain fr
She’s insane for this
I respect her for this so much
she going for it, what other b****es out here with this type of ambition?
People in general tbh
niggas gassing it but i guess it's more interesting than the motomami stuff

What are they trying to say lol
I'LL F*** YOU TILL U LOVE ME
Like one do at Berghain
Are there any other lyrical ties to Berghain in the song?
Is the piss goblin mentioned?
Darkrooms?
Cuz that's not even a review, they don't even say WHY it "doesn't earn it's provocation" lmfao, and they just randomly bring a random dj that have nothing to do with the song and Palestine... seriously what the fck
Are all pitchfork "reviews" this ass? Never read any of them
this is what happens when people who write about music know literally nothing about music other than vibes and posturing. i haven't even listened to this song i just think the state of music "journalism" is and has been abysmal for a very long time
funny cause I was in Berghain last weekend
lustig weil ich war erst letzte Woche im Berghain

How is the piss goblin doing these days?
i listened to the song and i read that review and my first impression is that s*** really should've been like three paragraphs long because what the hell were they even talking about. the review is almost like what they claimed the song to be: never quite earning its provocation. like elaborate on some of these points you're making
as for the song, as someone who listens to a lot of contemporary music for symphony orchestra and beyond i find it hilarious that people think this is super out there, just goes to show you how little people engage with orchestral music today. sounds very trans-siberian orchestra, definitely too simple for my taste, but if im evaluating it as a pop song, it's definitely an interesting change of pace for her and of course she sounds amazing as usual. outro is whatever though, i've been over yves tumor for a good few years now so having them on a song isn't a statement to me anymore. whole thing is giving trying too hard but ironically isn't even left field enough for someone like me lol but im hard to please in that department.
video and her german passages are probably the best parts about this, and the lyrics were interesting and hopefully indicative of a grander album narrative, which is expected and welcome.
I mean yeah it is random as f*** but in the best way possible, obviously there’s more to it in the album context
it's not really random at all though. most of it is pretty conventional really. if anything it sounds too much like a generic film score at points
scaring the bros music. crazy art direction but this is such a waste of collab potential with Bjork and Yves f***in Tumor and Polish public transport and Im from Poland. This must be a bad dream
that random The-Dream writing credit might be implying something

the dream on this one?wtf

I also dwell in Pooland, but I love the tune.

ayo lets offtopic whats your top 5 rap-oriented artists from poland?
This the type of song you respect for the “artistry” but never want to listen to again
Waste of features tbh
features ruined it for me, added nothing
this needed more rosalia
So out of nowhere you all like classic music?
