What's funny is a lot of listeners hated Julian lol he was pretty corny at times to me but that was just cause I didn't mesh with his humor. Outside of that he was a good contributor. I feel like listeners hated him because he'd actually challenge the dumb s*** Rory and Mal say and didn't let them get their Drake d***riding s*** off.

true on the first sentence. julian had to go

it wasn't even about him challenging stuff so to say but he became hard to listen to and it was a auto skip a few seconds on segments

I don’t care for Rory but being broadly familiar with him, 99% sure most of these tweets lack context, so that’s 1. 2, which should really be 1, it’s a decade ago, on Twitter. What is even the thought process in getting mad/upset about this type of stuff? Cause he said he’s a hip hop podcast?

2015 Rory was still with Joe, and as much as I detest Joe as a person, I haven’t seen a lot of evidence that would make me think he is rocking with a white man (who to my knowledge only dates black women) bashes black women and means it, and Joe never said one thing about? Everything don’t need a reaction.

well buddy. imo an individual can do whatever they want to do whether is to keep supporting or dropping it. but i wouldn't put anything past Joe as a person if you watched what he did before he did podcasting

his co-host ice had similarly tweets about black women and iirc he stood ten toes on his tweets.

Twitter, society was very different a decade ago. being on Twitter during early 2010s, it was frequent tweets as such for shock/laugh value because it was a running joke to make on black women. granted it was prob area based tweets since they all know each other and xyz. but when an individual reaches notoriety outside of their area, and their past is brought up i don't see anything wrong with it. it's a new audience that doesn't share the same humor or values

Im shocked at his failure to delete his old posts, especially as a white man that participates in Black Culture.

Cancel Culture has been around for a decade, we’ve had plenty of examples of people being called out for old posts. So that should’ve caused everyone to clean their social media up.

I’m shocked that these are still up and it took this long lmao

“I’ve never seen a good looking black woman” is a crazy thing to say

Like how else is someone supposed to take that other than racist?

Some white boys might not find black girls attractive

nah i wouldn't personally. but i'm not mad at it if he still tripled down on his takes. i'm not just tuning in like i used to anymore

he can't even make jokes or insinuate anything black women related on the pod or any type of humor. it'll only do himself a disservice if he's consistently bringing up how he went viral for inflammatory tweets that people actually care about lol

  • Nov 14, 2025

It’s literally so easy to mass delete tweets I never understand why people allow themselves to get caught up in it. I’m just a regular nobody and I nuked everything I tweeted from 2010-2015 back in like 2019 because I didn’t wanna risk an employer seeing some wild s*** I might’ve said

He was the guardrail keeping Mal from saying stupid ass s***. Notice how bad it got as soon as he left.

Y'all can hate Julian as much as y'all want whatever. But with how bad Mal became I just had to tune that pod out and never look back.

I could tolerate Julian occasionally being annoying. I can't tolerate Mal spewing genuinely stupid ass s***. Along with his weirdo infatuation with Trump.
