i'm solution based. if we're focused on rory, then what would you want people to do going forward? there would be 2 crowds, those who are like me, who already don't listen to his podcast, or anything else he does, not necessarily out of principle, but just don't engage with it for w/e reason. then you have those that do.
other than saying hey this is an issue, which all these tweet witch hunts seem to do, what is the actual path forward in this specific case?

I've said many times I'm not focused on him, I acknowledged they were racist and quickly moved my interest to all the other convos like this "back in the day" excuse narrative and hip hop media and now the fact that you can't even see racism in the tweets or can't bother to confirm whether they were jokes or not.

Again this isn't solely about whether you, I or others listen to a single podcast lol.

this'll be the last thing i'll say on this... i don't see how i could be part of the problem when I don't listen to his podcast, never been to dusse palooza, or anything he's got going on. again not out of principle, i'm just cool on it. this is the most oxygen i've given rory maybe since they left JBP. Tried to listen to their podcast after that incident cause I ain't like the way that went, but just wasn't engaging enough for me. outside of clips that come across my timeline here and there, i keep it scrolling. like even if i take it at face value, and say yea he's racist, all those tweets are racist, and is how he really feels.

I already answered this but you ignored it. Hip hop media is full of people like this to the point that you will see content or people discussing their content without seeking it out, racists and coons linking up and becoming popular is an issue. It's only abstract because you and some others are not willing to engage in these convos. If people can't even point out racism and coonery when they see it which is stage 1 then of course you won't see an issue that needs solving. Explaining to people what isn't healthy and why and then promoting alternatives in the space is viable solution and has worked among the people who care.
