u talking like they did something to op. I just see this as a normal way to treat strangers. if op is tired of it, i suggest he just makes friends with his roommates.

imagine u had an apartment w ur friends, and u threw regular parties w ur friend group. imagine in the middle of the school year some random u don't know moves in and just doesn't talk to anyone. he also leaves pretty much every weekend.

i mean, me personally, i would try and get to know the new roommate anyway, but i get that a lot of ppl just wouldn't see the point in that. op's roommates probably just assume that if he wanted to talk to them, he would.

i mean u can see how they'd end up just organizing their parties on the days the guy nobody knows isn't there, right? like i said it's not what i'd do, but it's not like some serious transgression or anything
