but honestly, who gives af. i imagine if this 3rd album will be a success, we'll be getting a lot of retrospective praise for the band come the end of the decade

it was one of the most talked about indie records of the year, it just seems dumb to include more obscure picks that nobody will be talking about next year (King Princess, Muna)

Dec 1, 2022·2 repliesSir Swagalotit's not even that for me personally. i would love a "sellout" pop album from her, but the writing was just not it. she dumbed it all the way down with the lazy choruses and verses, like really? you go out of your way to make these catchy yet experimental pop cuts, but then strip away the songwriting aspect for your last hurrah on a major? idk lol
