i think they tried to just put all the legends they could in the top 100 without making it obvious that they had favorites. Even if it means saying that the album is better than something placed lower. Prob approached it knowing they had to put at least one Bey, Taylor, Drake, Adele etc... in the top 100-120

like before what they used to do was stack it with the same artists who all had classics so acts like Dylan and Beatles always took up space. But now barely anyone repeats in top 100 outside of examples you can't really get that mad at like Prince or Kanye
