I think the hate came from it being kinda expected. A lot of articles place her really high in these types of lists for whatever reason. I stan her and could immediately think of several more deserving of that spot in R&B alone so I'm not mad at people being upset over it tbh

Formulaic song structure, horrible writing for the most part and vocally she can always yell but she’s not a good singer at all.
