can someone explain why critics seem to have shifted from TPAB being kendrick's masterpiece to GKMC?
i love both albums pretty equally so i have no horse in this race, but it's something i've noticed as of late
Noticed that too, happened in that other terrible list from a couple of weeks ago.

old critics been going for a more poptimist stance for a while to overcompensate for them being less kind to pop in the past hence the overrating of Taylor Swift
sales = quality but unironically

You can tell it’s forced too when they’re placing Chappell Roan’s and Olivia Rodrigo’s debut albums in the Top 50 despite them being less than 5 years old.

Yep. Rolling Stone basically has an actual Swifty reviewing her albums.
I agree with some of the listings but, this is a garbage list. Putting Beyonce-Lemonade #1 is just critics holding on to what suppose to make sense. No one cares and no one cares to agree with them.
