Hmm I usually feel less free at solo shows than when I'm with at least one homie
    That's just anxiety tho

Although tbf when I saw NxWorries I was singing like crazy on my own

We all should strive to be more comfortable doing activities on our own. Dope

  • What Gossip Instagram Page Got This B**** Ass Nigga In His Feelings

  • He’s Right BTW Can’t imagine bringing my b**** with me to a Kanye show and she get the ick from me singing Can’t Tell Me Nothing like I’m 11 years old again

    Nigga Please

  • Actually I found it debilitatingly lonely

  • yeah for the most part, I can get seats based on my budget and not have to compromise.

  • Ive been going to all concerts alone cause i don't know anybody irl who shares my taste in music and its still very fun. But i really love music and be doing the most like full dancing and singing so that obviously plays a part. Its funny cause i got mad social anxiety but somehow music Is liberating to me, almost like a d*** in a sense, it washes every fear away. Its almost therapeutic going to a concert personally

  • it's pretty cool to go +1 but i don't see why going alone would be a negative experience

  • I don’t care either way honestly

  • Seems like cope based on the headline.

It should be considered a normal and socially acceptable thing to do, but describing it as a ''Top-Tier Human Experience''? Yeah, no.

What do you do at a concert by yourself? I'm usually with an entourage about 15-20 deep, feel like going alone would be awkward.

  • I go to concerts alone all the time

If it’s an artist my wife isn’t into or that’s too vulgar for my son, I just pull up alone and make some homies for the night

    Always a good time

I tend to watch the show, dance and sing along! Hope this helps.

  • Another Rolling Stone thread

  • i've done this like three times and it wasn't a top tier human experience. you think that you're going to make a whole bunch of friends but then you realize you actually have to go up to people and make conversation and if you're shy and awkward then you just don't do that so you stand at the back of the venue ordering a drink at the bar and waiting until the show starts. maybe you do one or two bathroom runs to act like you're doing something and not just standing around looking into the abyss but the reality is you have isolated yourself and you feel that loneliness in a way that you don't usually feel because you look around and it seems like everyone around you has someone that they're talking to. on the off chance you do see a friend or acquaintance then great, now you finally have someone you can talk to and look cool with but if you don't then...

  • Never have but I wouldn’t be opposed to it tbh

  • Only had to do that once cause someone cancelled last minute but I just drank and talked to other drunk people, it was fine but far from "top tier" for me
