his songs are really short like all the time and his writing isn't always that strong. He needs to do more tbh.

Dudes in his age bracket make songs 1:20 with half a chorus on loop. Idk if you mean his verses or his structure, but I think both are strong points in his music. Every chorus is fleshed out and multi-staged. Always has background melodies. Whenever he does drop an actual rap verse it's strong. I wouldn't mind a third verse here and there though. That's probably going to come with age. Young rappers all have ADHD.

Polo G's songs are longer. Youngboy and him the same age but youngboy been rapping longer so I'll remove him from the discussion. Don't really listen to anyone younger than him. A lot of the songs on this tape sound like a chorus and just the beat which isn't a good thing. Yeah he can kinda rap when he wants to but a lot of the songs on here aren't that great. Felt slightly rushed and no real growth. The writing regressed here on a lot of records. His structure isn't that good on this. Idk who helped him with this s*** but a feature or two should be strongly advised or he should rap more. Rod barely raps if im being honest.

if he's going to sing the entire time and not really rap, the songs should still be longer. Never said he's bad. He's made longer songs before. Abandoned is a prime example and it's better than anything on this.
